December Newsletter

Dec. 11, 2020

Dear FRONT friends,

Snow is on the ground here in Cleveland, but that’s about all that feels familiar this December!

As we adjust to new modes, we’re also embracing both discomfort and joy in our last program of the year on Sunday, December 20 from 11am–1pm EST. Present! v.3.0.3: A Conflict Party is a special two-hour online workshop organized with Adult Kindergarten, the collaborative practice of community-based curator and organizer Court King and multidisciplinary artist Lo Smith. You can sign up for the event here.

Rather than treating conflict as something to avoid, A Conflict Party focuses on productive disagreement for community building. Join us for small-group discussions, role playing, creative activities, and dancing as a way to explore difficult topics and learn everyday tools! The workshop will take place on Zoom and is free and open to all with pre-registration.

As the year draws to a close, we also want to thank each of you for joining us on another trip around the sun. So many of you supported us in our Giving Tuesday campaign; if you would like to still support our mission with a $22 gift for our 2022 show, we’ll mail you a fun set of FRONT postcards, featuring six iconic images from our inaugural edition!

As always, we welcome your feedback. Drop us a note anytime or follow us on Instagram. We look forward to using this holiday season to reconnect with those around us.

With warm wishes from snowy Cleveland,
Prem, Fred, Sarah, Allison, Tina
